How You Can Help

Dickson Valley Camp and Retreat Center is an Illinois not-for-profit organization that strives to make the best use of every resource God provides. Dickson Valley only charges the ministries that use the camp the lowest amount possible to cover operating costs. This is achieved through:

Using volunteer labor and interns whenever possible.
Being frugal with our current resources(utilities, food, maintenance supplies...)
Seeking financial, material, and labor donations to provide for capital development of facilities and equipment.
Seeking financial, material, and labor donations to pay for high cost repairs or replacements.
Seeking financial donations to provide camperships for disadvantaged youth during summer camps.

Dickson Valley's ministry has been extremely positive because the Lord has provided individuals in a timely manner to fill the above needs. These blessings have allowed more people than ever before to experience Dickson Valley and the opportunities it provides to other ministries.

The entire camp is truly a gift from God and over the past couple of months He has provided many special blessings that these are only a few of:

Money has been donated for a bus!

Over the past year 2 work trucks and a mini van donated!

Many building materials donated by a number of local contractors!

$8,000 in bathroom wall covering donated by local drywall supplier!

Money donated toward materials for 17 picnic tables, built by a loving regular volunteer!

At least a dozen volunteer groups worked on our outdoor chapel and firewood projects!

Paint donated by hardware store and labor provided by retirees to paint all our main camp lodges!
