Tube Hill

Don't forget your scarf and gloves because you'll be in for a wild ride on our amazing tube hill!

We provide the tubes for a fun experience.

You can do this activity even after the sun sets since the area is equipped with lights. You are in for a treat if you would do it at night because we now provide disco tubing. We have flashy discos lights accompanied with chillin 80's music!

For a more enjoyable experience there is a rope tow that will pull you back up to the top of the hill.

What if there is no snow on the ground where you live? No worries, we are able to make our own snow so as long as it's cold enough outside.

Cross Country Skiing

Are you up for a good cardiowork out, or do you feel like trekking along in the snow around camp? If so this activity is a good one for you and your group. Dickson Valley Camp will provide the ski equipment for this activity.

Please note: this activity is only available if there is enough snow on the ground.

Broomball

This is a time you can go a slippen and a sliden on our iced over lake.

The game broomball is a version of ice hockey played with an 8" ball and professional broomball sticks or real brooms. No need to bring your skates, this game can be played with shoes and boots.

This game is also able to be played at night since the area is lit.

Fire in Fireplaces

We know that you'll have allot of fun outside with our winter activities, but when the cold gets to be too much for you, you can come inside and enjoy the luxury of our fireplaces. All buildings are already equipped with heaters, but to create a tidy atmosphere, in most of the lodges there is also a fire place or stove.

In Acorn, Chalet, Silver Fox, and Dickson Lodge relax and put your feet up so you can warm up quickly to our fireplaces. We include all materials for the fire.

Winter Activities

If you think that if it's winter we do not have retreat groups you are wrong. On the contrary, winter time is the perfect time to come to Dickson Valley Camp! We have a variety of activities that are only provided during this time of the year. Take a look at what we have to offer!
