Camp and retreat activities are invaluable to the local church's ministry because they provide an occasion for continued modeling of, and reflecting upon Christian truths and for facilitating group dynamics away from today's fast-paced society.
Many hardships or uncomfortable moments may try to come in the way of a positive experience for someone on a retreat or at camp. At Dickson Valley we believe that through prayer, proper planning, and positive role models these situations can be turned into positive faith growing learning times. The teachable moment is to always be look for and never to be let slip away.

Dickson Valley Camp and Retreat Center is a unique outdoor program setting which exists to support the ministry of the local church and help bring youth and adults toward a strong and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
